State Grid has set high requirements for its data management and the software-hardware system that stores, backs up and archives its data. Case A:

Scenarios: Province A needs to perform a full backup, incremental backup as well as recovery of its operating system and applications. Operation and maintenance management is also required. The plan Scutech provides is as follows:

The disaster recovery platform based on backup products of Scutech can provide backup & recovery service as well as operation & maintenance management such as user access control, job management, alert management and reporting management.

 Backup data could be stored for a long time as the platform is connected to Quantum IX6700 tape library. Supports custom backup time and strategy according to requirements of business systems. The platform can also connect to other tape libraries such as Huawei VTL6900.

Case B:

Scenarios: Province B requires a full backup and incremental backup of its operating system and databases; D2T and D2D2T modes are required and backup data will be stored in Oracle tape.

The plan is as follows:

   The disaster recovery platform is built based on Scutech’s backup products to provide data backup and recovery service for the whole backup system. Oracle RAC operating in HP-UX system will be directly backed up to tape library. The platform is also connected to Oracle SL150 tape library for long-time offline storage. Linx Rocky Secure Operating System will perform full backup for the operating system and backup for specific application files.
